Taxation Without Complication
This article explains the concerns that many Americans have had about our tax system. No one wants to pay unneeded taxes but our tax system may not always be fair, this might be true but Peter Coy gives his option of what can be done and what he thinks should be done. Peter Coy used a fraise through his article about chicken and fish; I did not like his analogy but it did make sense in the contacts. This was a thoughtful article in which every taxpaying American and stake in and should have an option on.
The main point of this article is questioning out tax system, this is what our country was founded on. We should as taxpayer question what we pay taxes on to keep everything honest and understood. If wouldn’t question or taxes we could be wasting out money on programs that don’t help, and wasting out hard earned money. At the end of the day once we have questioned and understood our taxes everyone feels better about having to pay taxes.
Over the last weekend I completed and mailed in my taxes; this article speaks right to me. I would like to not have to pay taxes but I know that without taxes we have no country. I have my taxes taken out of my weekly pay cheeks and send in for my rebate at year’s end. I use TurboTax software to complete my taxes and is one of the most helpful thins on the plaint. You can look up on different government both stat and local to see what your taxes are being spent on, this help you realize what is being done with your money.
